In the modern approach to controls in the house, there are a number of systems that need to be linked together to provide overall control of the property with the facility to make adjustments, and get feedback on any changes that are made
We have created a simple diagram to illustrate how some of these elements come together to make the "intelligent home". The diagram shows, in very simple terms, how the sensors, heating and ventilation controls and lighting controls would be installed in a property
The later sections in this guide provide a more in depth description of these elements and add further detail to all of the potential plant that you might wish to control.
