SmartHome Controls Ltd is a company set up by two previous directors of smartkontrols - David Fryer and Phil Longhurst, and is the exclusive UK distributor for smartkontrols into the residential sector.

Phil Longhurst was Operations Director at smartkontrols and has over 20 years’ experience in building control and building management systems technology and applications. At SmartHome Controls Phil's primary responsibility is for system engineering, development, sales and technical support.

Until recently, David has held the position of Managing Director at smartkontrols, and before that he was the company’s Chief Finance Officer. He also has over 9 years’ experience in the electronics sector as Finance Director for a subsidiary company within Bowthorpe plc. David is responsible for sales, manufacturing and financial control

SmartHome Controls Ltd continues to operate out of Bellbrook Business Park, Uckfield in West Sussex.

smartkontrols have taken all the best bits from commercial / industrial intelligent controls and conventional domestic-style products to create the next generation of intelligent controls for residential buildings. We offer HVAC and Lighting Control systems to the UK market and Eire.

Using state of the art technology designed and manufactured in the UK the smartkontrols system is well proven having been installed in many thousands of buildings throughout the UK and Europe and featured in many press reviews.
